BAN VS IND, 1st Test – Day 5 : Bangladesh squashed by India at Chattogram

India beat Bangladesh by 188 runs on final day of the first test match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. Kuldeep Yadav granted as Player of the Match for his 8 crucial wicket.

India conclude the match in first fifty minutes on the final day. Siraj trapped Mehidy (13) on length ball wide of off caught by Umesh Yadav at backward point. Captain Shakib Al Hasan (84 off 108 balls) dealt sternly with the Indian Bowlers and hit a swirl of boundaries but eventually he trapped confined by Kuldeep Yadav. Bangladesh tailenders didn’t last long as a result they surrender their innings at 324.

India go up to the 3rd spot on the WTC point table after this win over Bangladesh.
