A Biography of Abhishek Porel ,a talented Indian cricketer from West Bengal

Abhishek Porel is a talented Indian cricketer who was born on August 5, 1999, in Chandannagar, West Bengal. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who is known for his pace and swing.

He started playing cricket at a very young age and quickly became a promising player. He was selected for the Bengal Under-16 team and later played for the Under-19 team. He also played for the Bengal team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

In 2018, He was selected for the Indian Under-19 team for the ICC Under-19 World Cup. He was a key member of the team and played a vital role in India’s victory in the tournament. He took 7 wickets in 6 matches and bowled a crucial spell in the final against Australia.

After his impressive performance in the Under-19 World Cup, Abhishek Porel was picked up by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in 2018. However, he did not get a chance to play in the tournament.

In 2019, He made his first-class debut for Bengal in the Ranji Trophy. He had a good season, taking 17 wickets in 6 matches. He also played for the India A team in a series against South Africa A.

He continued his good form in the 2020-21 season, taking 25 wickets in 7 matches in the Ranji Trophy. He also played for the Bengal team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Currently He is in the playing for the Delhi capitals in INdian premier league 2023.

Abhishek Porel is considered one of the most promising young cricketers in India. He has a bright future ahead of him and is expected to make his mark in international cricket soon.
