WTC final expected to set up from 7 of June at Oval, not too distant from the IPL final clash

The World Test Championship (WTC) final is likely to begin in first week of June at Oval. Inspite of that ICC (International Cricket Council) has not announced the lineup yet.

After clean sweeping West Indies by 2-0, Australia are now one step closer to fix their spot in WTC Final at Oval. Australia maintain their top position on the points table and now they have 75 percentage points. On the other hand looking at West Indies, they are at the No.7 spot with 40.91 percentage points.

Here is updated ICC WTC Points Table after Australia vs West Indies :-

Team India must have to conquer Bangladesh in upcoming Test Match series from 14th of December. They must have to win both 2 matches for keeping hope alive for WTC Final .

Last year Team India have qualified for final and got defeated by New Zealand under the captaincy of Kane Williamson .

Team NZ won WTC Final last year against India at Southampton, June 18 – 23, 2021 .
