On this day in cricket history :Jonty rhodes did most spectacular, flying run-out of Inzamam-ul-Haq 

 Jonty Rhodes was quickly earning a reputation as a top-notch fielder in 1990’s but on this day he confirmed his status among the world’s best, and most spectacular, with a flying run-out of Inzamam-ul-Haq in the World Cup match in Brisbane.

What’s happened As Inzamam lumbered towards safety Rhodes charged in from point and dived full-length with ball in hand to shatter the stumps.

It turned the game, and with Pakistan losing again – they had beaten only Zimbabwe in their first five games .But after this match onwards ,Pakistan stated showing their class and eventually won World cup 1992 after beating England. for the very first time .That world cup win remained Pakistan’s first world cup win till date.
